THE EMPIRE THEATRE
LIVERPOOL
Enamelled toughened glass, 6 X 15 m
Architects: Ellis Williams Architects
The main concept for the design has
been inspired by torn fragments of
theatre tickets.
At the bottom of the design a
large area of sandblasted glass exists
to accommodate text, this includes a
brief history of The Theatre, a list of
Donors and a selection of some of the famous performers that appeared at
the Empire Theatre in the past.
The glass has been decorated with
silk screen and hand painted enamels.
